About this event

Are you looking to gain lots of practical ideas to make learning through food and nature more exciting and relevant to your school? Come and join us at Greenside Primary to learn about the development of an experiential learning model through a creative approach to teaching the curriculum that links together with the school's kitchen and regenerative growing project. You will also be able to hear from Chefs in Schools and Natoora about how they can support these initiatives in your school.

This session will also include the opportunity to visit the school's micro bakery - Breaducation. Please see https://www.thegreensidefoodexperience.com/ for more information about the work Greenside are doing around food, soil regeneration and the environment.

Lunch and refreshments are provided, cooked onsite at Greenside.

We are excited to welcome Douglas McMaster of London’s Silo Restaurant as the first of our Guest Chef Sessions at Greenside Primary. He will be cooking school lunch with us and sharing advice about our journey to ‘zero waste’.

Parents/Carers are invited to join us for the PSA Quiz Night. The event begins with welcome drinks in the garden followed by dinner and the famous quiz in the school hall. Tickets are priced at £10 a head and includes a delicious dinner provided by The Greenside Food Experience. Please contact the PSA to get your ticket!

We welcome our parents/carers of our Reception and Nursery students to come and meet the teachers and each other for the beginning of the school year. You will get to hear more about the start of term for your children and the academic year ahead, as well as sample some delicious treats from our famous school kitchen and learn more about The Greenside Food Experience.
